Horizon Thunderjaw Model Kit Building MOC Model (4743 Pieces)

I was a bit nervous to buy this at the beginning, but it was awesome! I only had a few missing/deformed pieces, which I replaced easily with a few from my own collection, and also I think I might have misplaced one of the baggies of bricks. Additionally, some of the technic pieces can be a bit hard to get together or too loose, but I was able to figure out a good method for getting them together, and superglue helps with some fragile parts. If you are buying this, know that it will take a while to sort at the beginning, as the bags are not numbered as traditional lego sets are. The end result is seriously worth it though.

You don't have to be familiar with the game to appreciate how awesome the finished product looks. One piece was deformed and some of the axel pieces were very difficult to insert. Overall worth the money but not the most fun to build at times. Serious builders only with access to spare parts.

This is my first non-Lego brand set, and I was very impressed with the quality of the bricks themselves. The set itself is massive with 4,700+ pieces and worth every penny of the price. What would make this a 5 star set is packaging the pieces by steps in the manual, and not by type/color.

The most challenging part of the build was sorting through all 4,700 pieces to find the part you’re looking for in the next step. I found that gathering all your pieces for the next major part (legs, head, radar, etc), then going back and building was the most efficient and enjoyable process for me. The instructions are 1,700+ pages so it's not a quick build. Good luck!

So the build process was pretty rough. The bags being organized is great and helps alot, but you guys should make it so the parts are placed in bags in order from the parts that are supposed to be used first like Lego bags with numbers. Also there was a few missing parts but I had parts to replace them so it wasn't all too bad. Overall I love the set and it's a great showcase.
