APX GP F1 car by NV Carmocs - MOC 227958 320 Parts (based on the F1 Movie)

"Just like the world of F1, I had to work fast to get this build done. I saw F1 the movie last week and it was a really fun experience. And it hit me with a rush of inspiration to replicate the APX GP cars in LEGO form. And here we are a week later, and I can already present you the finished results!

For the build I decided to stick close to the template LEGO has introduced with their 2025 wave of F1 Speed Champion cars. Though like all of those 10 sets, I made sure to make the build for the APX GP as unique as possible. So while is shares a spoiler and front wing design with the sets, it is built up very differently in the middle to replicate the airbox and sidepods that where seen on the real car.

Black and gold is the color scheme for APX GP and I too wanted to replicate the livery as accurately as possible. I managed to replicate part of the colors with some extra metallic gold pieces, though most of the livery is achieved by the amazing gold stickers by the Brickstickershop. This surely was a challenging stickersheet to replicate, with all the gold striping and grey artwork.

To sum up the build, It is designed to be displayed alongside LEGO’s offical F1 cars. Next to that the model is very sturdy and you have the option to pick the racing number to either driver. Hence why the stickersheet also includes some torso stickers to recreat Sonny and Joshua in LEGO form. While the build is not as original as my other MOC’s, with the gorgeous gold stickers and detailed livery, this definitely turned into one of my favourite mocs to date!"
